Jack A. Tuszyński – Full Professor, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS) Politecnico di Torino, Italy (home page), and University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. Temporary title: Investigations of metabolic changes in cancer cells resulting from pharmacological agents and low-intensity electromagnetic fields

The following sessions are planned:

  • Networks and Pharmacology
  • Omics and Disease
  • Statistics and Artificial Intelligence in Data Analytics
  • Structural Bioinformatics
  • young scientists @ BBCC: in collaboration with the youngBITS group and ISCB RSG-Italy, a session dedicated to a topic of wide interest, and in particular for the young scientists in bioinformatics and computational biology.

Contributions are welcome for the planned sessions and also for the following topics:

  • Big data and data science
  • Databases of biological information
  • Novel and challenging methodologies
  • Systems biology

Abstract of oral presentations and posters/short presentations can be submitted, starting from August 20 and no later than September 20, following the instructions at the web address: https://www.bbcc-meetings.it/submit/

Briefly, abstracts must be written in English, should present original research describing new development and/or practical applications, and must not exceed 400 words, without images. A submission form will be available for guiding the procedure.

Abstracts will be evaluated by members of the Scientific Committee for admission to the Conference Program.

For each abstract admitted in the Conference Program, it is required the registration of one author in order to be included into the Final Program of the Conference.

Authors will be notified of the acceptance status of their abstracts in time for registering with early registration fees. Instructions for preparing presentations and posters will be provided upon acceptance and registration to the Conference.
